Training

With every cell project demanding unique solutions, each has its own environmental, structural, and design characteristics. SLU guarantees a team with proper experience, skills, and certification that operators and clients can rely on for their specific projects.

Our state of the art training facilities ensure that all new hires receive proper pre-job training. We host critical training sessions outfitted with a wide selection of tower, structure, and communications equipment. SLU performs in-house tower climbing and rescue training by ComTrain. We also require all of our technicians and project managers to have OSHA certifications, RF awareness training, CPR and first aid certifications. For our crew members, we certify in Anritsu, OTDM, and ODM testing.  All training equipment is what our professionals use in the front-line, therefore certifying new hires to be fully ready for the many challenges they encounter in the field.

For every new hire, no matter their past title, SLU evaluates their knowledge in many subjects. Every job interview acquires a true scope of telecommunications knowledge, field skills, technical expertise, management capacity, and if they meet our three principle standards: Safety, quality, and reliable.
